Both our Hammam and Nordic experiences are exclusive to women aged 16 years and older. Whether you're coming solo or with friends, it's designed to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere specifically catered to women, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests.

Things to know about Hammam experience

What is a Hammam experience?

A Hammam is a wellness experience that offers a series of treatments designed to deep cleanse and relax the body. The process includes several steps aimed at purifying and rejuvenating, starting with a soothing steam sauna to unwind. This is followed by a body exfoliation using an eco-friendly scrubbing cloth, an optional quick fix massage with our signature shower gel, and ending with a relaxing moment to enjoy Moroccan tea and treats.

What should I bring for my Hammam Experience?

• For the Collective Hammam Experience:

You’ll need to bring your bathing suit (mandatory in the steam room)—bikinis are ideal so you can remove the top during the scrub session if you're comfortable. Feel free to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, "Kessa" scrubbing cloth and black soap or you can purchase them at the spa for future use.

We’ve got everything else covered! You’ll be provided with slip-resistant sandals, and soft cotton towel. A locker for your belongings, hairdryers and plastic bags for your wet bathing suit are available in the changing room.

Citrus water, herbal tea, Moroccan mint tea, and delicious treats are available throughout your stay. 

• For the Private Suite Hammam Experience:

You’ll need to bring your bathing suit—bikinis work best so you can remove the top during the scrub session if you're comfortable. Feel free to bring your own Kassa scrubbing cloth, or you can purchase one at the spa for future use.

We’ll take care of everything else, from premium body care products to a luxurious cotton bathrobe, slip-resistant sandals, and a locker for your belongings, with hairdryers available in the changing room. Citrus water, herbal tea, Moroccan mint tea, and delicious treats are available throughout your stay. When it’s time to leave, we’ll provide a compostable bag for your wet bathing suit.

How many people will be in the collective Hammam?
We limit our Collective Hammam Experience to a maximum of 5 guests at a time. This ensures a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere where you can fully unwind, whether you're solo or with a small group of friends or family.

Looking for more privacy? You can book a private suite for 1 or 2 people and enjoy the experience at your own pace.

Things to know about Nordic experience

What is a Nordic Experience?

A Nordic Experience is a revitalizing wellness ritual that combines cycles of heat, cold, and rest to restore balance and rejuvenate the body. You’ll begin with a session in the sauna to relax your muscles, followed by a refreshing cold shower or plunge to invigorate your senses. After a brief rest, the experience continues with a steam room session, followed by another round of cooling down in the cold plunge or shower. Between each cycle, you'll enjoy moments of rest to allow your body to recover. The experience concludes with relaxation in our serene space to indulge your senses, sipping herbal tea or Moroccan mint tea, and enjoying delicious treats for a complete refresh.

What should I bring for my Nordic experience?

You’ll only need your bathing suit (and a water bottle if you'd like). We’ve got the rest covered!

You’ll receive cotton towels, a soft waffle bathrobe, and slip-resistant sandals when you arrive, plus a locker to store your belongings. In the changerooms, we provide our Spa signature shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with hairdryers. Citrus water, herbal tea, Moroccan mint tea, and delicious treats are available throughout your stay. When it’s time to leave, we’ll provide a compostable bag for your wet bathing suit.

How many people will be in the Nordic Circuit?
We limit the Nordic Circuit to a maximum of 4 guests at any time, ensuring an intimate and peaceful experience. Whether you're enjoying it solo, with a partner, or a small group of friends or family, you can relax and unwind without the crowds.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to check in and get settled. If it’s your first visit, we’re happy to guide you through the spa amenities and explain how to make the most of your experience. To ensure everyone enjoys a smooth and relaxing visit, we kindly ask that you respect your scheduled time.

Where can I park?
You can find free 1-hour and 2-hour street parking along Pretoria Street.

What is the atmosphere like at the spa?

Our spa is a peaceful retreat, divided into zones for the most relaxing experience. The Nordic Circuit, the main Hammam room, and the Relaxation area are Quiet Zones, where we ask guests to speak softly to maintain tranquility. The Sauna and Steam Rooms are Silent Zones, dedicated to quiet reflection and unwinding. To preserve this serene atmosphere, we kindly ask that all electronic devices be left in your locker during your visit, allowing everyone to fully relax and enjoy the experience.

For private events, guests have the freedom to choose their own atmosphere, whether it's a quiet retreat or a more social, celebratory ambiance.

Are the spa products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes! All of our products used for body treatments are natural, argan oil-based, and designed to hydrate and nourish the skin. Our Kassa exfoliation gloves are soft and gentle, but we recommend avoiding any areas with skin conditions like eczema, rashes, or open wounds to ensure the best care for your sensitive skin.

Are there any health restrictions to spa experiences?

• If you have cardiac or respiratory conditions, high/low blood pressure, or other health issues, please consult your physician before using the sauna or steam room. So Morocco Spa is not responsible for any illness or injury due to guest negligence.
• Pregnant women are advised against using the sauna and steam room due to sudden temperature changes that may cause complications. However, the hammam and other body treatments are considered safe and can be enjoyed.
• Scrubbing treatments are not recommended for individuals with skin conditions. We advise avoiding areas affected by issues like eczema, rashes, or open wounds to ensure your sensitive skin is well cared for.
• Alcohol use before and during the Hammam or Nordic experiences is prohibited. Our staff reserves the right to refuse entry or treatment if intoxication is suspected.

Is there anything to do in the relaxation room during my rest session?

• Absolutely! You can treat yourself to a self-applied face mask from our Botanicool Bar. Crafted on-site with organic Moroccan botanicals, Argan oil, and clays, these masks are tailored to your skin type, ensuring nourishment and revitalization.

Got any spa packages for groups or events?

Absolutely! We’ve got a women exclusive duo Hammam experience in our private suite. Perfect for enjoying some pampering time with your mom, bestie, or favorite companion!

What are your reservation policies?

• Guests must be women 16 years of age and over
• You can book online for up to four people, including Hammam and Nordic experiences, massages, and body treatments. You'll receive an email confirmation after booking. If your preferred time isn’t available, call us – we may have additional spots.
• A credit card is required to hold your reservation. Payment is only effectively taken at check-out.
• Prices are per person and before taxes.

• Arrival: We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to ensure a smooth experience.

What are your cancellation policies?

When you book a Hammam, Nordic Circuit, Massage, or Body Treatment, that time is reserved specifically for you. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

• Hammam and Nordic experiences: cancellations made within 24-hour period of the appointment will incur a 50% charge of the service cost. Failing to show up for your appointment will result in a 100% charge of the service fee.
• Massage & Body Treatments: if you cancel your appointment within 24-hour period, 100% service fee will be charged in consideration of our practitioners’ time. Should you be unable to attend, feel free to send a friend or family member in your place.
• What about running late? If you’re running late for your spa booking, please give us a call at +1 343 550 3050. We’ll do our best to adjust your start time. However, as spots are limited, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment depending on availability.

What is the expected code of conduct during my visit to the spa?

We strive to create a peaceful and welcoming environment for all our guests and staff. To ensure that everyone has a positive experience, we ask that all visitors be mindful of their behavior. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of indecent, hateful, racist, xenophobic, vulgar, or otherwise disrespectful actions.

Respecting the personal space of others, as well as our team, is important to us. Proper attire, such as swimwear or robes, is required in shared areas to ensure the comfort of all.
